Custom Plans for Your School or District
Generation Citizen works alongside teachers and administrators to develop an implementation strategy tailored to the school or district. From supporting classroom integration to building awareness and buy-in, we design partnerships with long-term success in mind.
Implementing and Scaling
Educators transform their schools and communities by implementing Community-Based Experiential Civics in their classrooms. Implementation typically begins with a subset of teachers piloting the program. Over time, more teachers adopt the program with the goal of all students across at least one grade level in a school or district having access to Community-Based Experiential Civics.
Building Capacity for Sustainability
Generation Citizen supports schools with building their capacity to sustain Community-Based Experiential Civics long-term. By enrolling in the Generation Citizen Educator Network, schools receive a suite of benefits, including ongoing access to new professional learning and curricular resources and the opportunity for teachers to enroll in a program that equips them to train new Experiential Civics teachers and centers them as leaders in their district.
