As a Kentucky high school student, Taylor witnessed firsthand how limited civic education shaped young people’s understanding of their role in democracy. Determined to change that, she pursued a BA and MA in Political Science from the University of Louisville, where she focused her research on youth-led democracy movements and education policy.
Taylor brings experience in academic programming, youth development, community organizing, and policy advocacy. With deep roots in Kentucky’s civic landscape and a steadfast commitment to equity-centered systems change, she is dedicated to advancing Generation Citizen’s mission to build an education movement that equips and inspires young people to strengthen our democracy.
Outside of work, Taylor enjoys exploring Louisville’s vibrant festivals, parks, and restaurants. She loves yoga, long walks, good music, quality time with loved ones, and watching her favorite show, Abbott Elementary.
