Joe brings seven years of experience in education and the private sector, having worked with organizations like Teach For America, Section, and AlphaSights. He served as an 11th grade English teacher on the southside of OKC with TFA before most recently managing development and regional operations for TFA Oklahoma. He honed his client service and product delivery skills while working with F500 clients at Section and AlphaSights.

Joe believes that every child deserves an excellent education and the tools to advocate for their communities. He is proud to serve as board chair of RISE STEAM Academy, a new public charter school in OKC that has doubled enrollment in its second year of operation, and is excited to bring that growth-oriented focus to Generation Citizen’s Southern region.

Joe grew up in Rhode Island and currently lives in Oklahoma City with his wife and two cats. He received a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Dartmouth College. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, working on cars, and yoga. He is also a self-professed news junkie and a religious reader of The Financial Times, among other favored newspapers and magazines.
