Lauren Augustine

Lauren Augustine is a Sophomore at Tufts University majoring in International Relations and American Studies. Originally from Palo Alto, California, Lauren has always had a deep interest in politics and participated in Model United Nations and other model Legislature programs. In high school, she combined her political interests with her passion for human rights and founded her school's STAND chapter as well as created a inter-school awareness organization for the genocide in Darfur, Sudan. Through this she learned to navigate her city and state governments and organized rallies, benefit concerts, petitoins, etc. At Tufts, Lauren is a member of Judicial Advocates, a student organization that helps to inform students of their rights.

Lauren became involved with Generation Citizen last semester through the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service. Last semester she mentored at Malden high school.
