Our Classes
As part of Generation Citizen, students themselves select a community issue and work with our mentors to design and carry out an action plan.
Students have addressed issues ranging from gang violence to immigrant rights to teen jobs, and have met with legislators, written op-eds, and produced short documentaries. In only our first two years of operation, Generation Citizen students have already found success in choosing an issue affecting them as citizens, and actively working for change.
